The state in recent weeks has issued more permits for additional animal factory farms in the watershed and 2. The law that the people passed to really protect the Lake by prohibiting pollution and harm is being challenged by the state. \n\nDoes anyone really believe protecting our waters is a top priority of the state? Their actions say no. Their actions say the state’s main concern is protecting the polluters bottom line and their own campaign coffers.",
