"commentText": "The bigger problem is Apple ties you into the amount of memory on your phone, then \"gives\" you preinstalled apps with your iOS upgrade that uses large amounts of that memory.  You CAN'T remove them, so if you are running short on memory, what are you going to do?  You will have to use the preinstalled app instead of a better 3rd party app.  Why not let me get rid of the crapware that I am never going to use so I can load more music?  I don't use Maps, Health, Weather, Newstand, iBooks, Stocks, Game Center, Passbook, Voice Memos, Videos, Podcasts, Tips, or Apple Watch.  Why do they have to clutter up my phone.  Let me dump them and if I screw up and need it later, I can go get it or do without!<div><br /></div><div>The second problem.  Give us streaming everything!  We can't use it due to our carrier's unwillingness to give us the data plan we need in order to use it at an affordable price.  So, what's it going to cost?  $10 a month, plus another 10-20 a month for more data.  Or if you still have the unlimited plan at AT&amp;T, you have 5 GB before your hit the slow down to dial-up speeds.  All these streaming services and advances in video are great, but our ISPs are holding us down due to their unwillingness to invest in the infrastructure to keep us from becoming a 3rd world country.</div>",

"commentText": "Obviously the key difference is that nobody has to pay for Maps or Notes. Perhaps a more relevant point of comparison would be how many people pay for additional iCloud storage. I guess nobody knows those numbers, but I don't think they're amazing. <div><br /></div><div>I've been paying for 200 GB of iCloud storage so that I can keep all my photos in the cloud, and I've also been an iTunes Match subscriber (despite its woeful problems).... but I don't think the average Apple user will take the plunge at $10/month, even after a free trial. I suspect the Venn Diagram overlap of \"people who are willing to pay $10/month for unlimited streaming\" and \"people who haven't already tried Spotify\" is vanishingly small. </div>",

I've purchased other apps, such as notability, but the ability to say \"Siri . . . . .\" keeps me using Notes.   Personally, I never really had any problems with Apple Maps either.  <div><br /></div><div>It will be great if I can control Apple Music using Siri, especially when plugged in to my car.   I am curious to see how iTunes Radio, and iTunes Match will be affected by Apple Music.  As an iTunes Match user, I get Ad-Free iTunes radio, which is perfectly satisfactory for my needs.  </div><div><br /></div><div>What does confuse me is the difference between paid and unpaid.  When I look at the difference between the $10 subscription and the Apple ID, it is not clear what an Apple Music Member really gets beyond saving and liking tracks.  I am also wondering whether a $10 subscription would be better spent on SiriusXM than on Apple Music.  If I have to pay, I should at least pay for something that is also built in to my car and not subject to problems with a lack of Cellular service.<br /></div><div><br /></div>",
